Harden’s Next Chapter

The NBA world is abuzz with James Harden’s latest move - heading to Cleveland. HoosierDaddyKid kicked off the discussion, noting that the Cavs went all-in on Harden, and we’ll see what that brings on Sunday.

“Cleveland went all in on Harden. We’ll see what that brings on Sunday. I’m still surprised Toronto is in this series without Quickley and Ingram.”

Meanwhile, Chicagojk isn’t convinced Harden will lead the Cavs to victory:

“I am sure Clev fans are super confident . I actually think he plays pretty good in game 7 and the Cavs win. The Harden stinker is coming later in the playoffs is my guess.”

Jokic’s Future in Denver

HoosierDaddyKid also shared some insight on Nikola Jokic’s future in Denver, courtesy of Shams:

“Shams on Jokic’s future in Denver.”

And in a somewhat related note, MPJ had some interesting comments on the Nuggets’ trade decision:

“MPJ says the Nuggets would have won if they hadn’t traded him.”

Philly’s Magical Run

The 76ers just pulled off an incredible upset, and HoosierDaddyKid had the details:

“Philly took advantage of no Tatum and Boston missing 12 of their last 13 shots in the final 5 minutes, having Embiid playing well along with PG, Maxey, and Edgecombe was the difference.”

Knutsen is loving Philly’s chances going forward:

“Philly is dangerous, they are getting the band together at the right time. A starting five of Maxey, Edgecomb, George, Oubre and Embiid is very solid on both ends of the floor.”

Mavs Rumblings

In a discussion that caught our attention, RoyTarpleysGhost brought up the possibility of Anthony Davis joining the Blazers:

“There’s a legitimate chance that Anthony Davis is traded by the Wizards before appearing in a game for the franchise. The Trail Blazers, who previously pursued him at the trade deadline, could be a potential landing spot— especially if they fail in their chase of Giannis Antetokounmpo.”

The Mavs were apparently not interested in a deal involving Jerami Grant and draft capital.

“It was Jerami Grant, expiring contracts, and a heavily protected pick for Anthony Davis, and it never gained any traction whatsoever.”

A Familiar Face?

Could James Harden be a Mav someday? Scott41theMavs posed the question:

“Maybe he’s ‘washed up’ enough that the Mavs can get permission to talk to him.”

As we wrap up this roundup, one thing’s for sure - the NBA landscape is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

And with that, we’ll leave you with a bold prediction: the 76ers will make a deeper playoff run than expected, and Joel Embiid will give us all a reason to go “The Process was right!”
